CER Directive

The physical and all-hazards companion to NIS2. Where NIS2 covers cyber risk, CER covers the resilience of critical entities against natural hazards, terrorism, sabotage and other disruptions.
In force: Adopted 2022 alongside NIS2; applies through national transposition
Who it applies to
Entities that each Member State identifies as critical in sectors such as energy, transport, banking, financial market infrastructure, health, drinking water, waste water, digital infrastructure, public administration, space and food.
